A simple schedule
- Every few weeks: a gentle hand wash and a quick vacuum.
- Spring: a full detail, such as our Signature Detail, to remove winter salt and road film.
- Fall: a sealant or ceramic coating top-up before winter.
- As needed: polishing when swirl marks make paint look dull.
When to go sooner
If you have pets, kids, a work truck or you are selling the vehicle, go sooner. An Ultimate Detail before selling can make a real difference to how the vehicle shows. Smells, stains and pet hair also get harder to remove the longer they sit.
Protection changes the rhythm
A vehicle with ceramic coating or paint protection film is easier to keep clean and needs less frequent heavy work. See our ceramic coating and PPF pages.
Cost
Express starts at $189, Signature from $249 (regular price $289) and Ultimate from $749. Add-ons are priced separately. GST extra.
By how you use the vehicle
- Daily commuter: full detail in spring, interior refresh in fall.
- Family vehicle: interior clean every few months, full detail once or twice a year.
- Work truck: interior and exterior deep clean after the heaviest seasons, plus pet hair or mud add-ons as needed.
- Weekend car: a detail and sealant once a year is usually plenty.
Signs it is time
- Water no longer beads on the paint.
- The paint feels rough when you run your hand over it after washing.
- The interior smells stale or the carpets are stained.
- Headlights look cloudy.
Interior vs exterior
The inside takes wear from people, pets and salt; the outside takes wear from the weather. Different schedules suit each. Every one of our detailing packages covers both, so you only drop the vehicle off once.
